the children got to use trial and error to create a maze to make a marble land in a cup! Their materials were pieces of popsicle sticks, playdoh and a slant board! They had so much fun!!!
the children started working on their reader’s notebooks today! This is where they draw and write a response to a book they have listened to or read! They did a great job!!
we made trees out of paper bags with Miss Paling’s class! As the leaves start to turn, we will add other color leaves on them too!
I hope to see all of the parents and families tonight at open house, but if you cannot make it here are some pictures of things we have been working on!

Hello to all my new Kindergarten friends!!! I'm Mrs. Lord and here is a picture of me and my family! My husband Alan and I have a daughter named Lilah who is 7 and going into second grade and a son named Nolan who is 2 years old! We went to Disney World this summer and had so much fun! I look forward to meeting all of you and having a wonderful school year with lots of fun and adventures! See you real soon!
we have learned all about the life cycles of a frog, butterfly, ladybug and plants. We created our own Monet inspired ponds and the hallway is looking beautiful!
My name is Mrs. Lord and I love teaching kindergarten! It is so wonderful to see all the children blossom and bloom in such a short time.
